SunPower expects its modules (panels) have a useful life of more than 40-years. This is made possible through fundamental design differences which provide robust protection against real-world stresses. SunPower panels are manufactures made of robust shingled cells and advanced encapsulant which are highly resistant to thermal stresses, humidity, and PID. Our panels are operable between temperatures ranging from -40°C – +85°C
The unique parallel circuitry mitigates hotspots and increases energy production in shade or soiling.
